Detroit early morning radio indicate Mojo in the Morning hours posted pictures of Fakih competing its 2007 "Stripper 101" competition. For the competition, strippers showed female listeners some moves and the "very best student" was the grand-prize winner. As to the station, only females were in attendance and the performers were all totally clothed.
The pics, which the station mentioned have been circulating on their website for decades, indicate Fakih dancing fully clothed and with dollar expenses stuffed in her bra soon after winning the competition.
The stereo station says it was all in good enjoyment, but Mojo in the Early morning wrote on its web page Monday that Miss USA officials contacted them "requesting a lot more photographs and information" with regards to Fakih's involvement in the contest. When the show's producers asked pageant officials if the illustrations or photos would impact Fakih's name, they wouldn't solution.
"Mojo in the Morning hours thoroughly supports Rimah Fakih as she represents Detroit and America in the Miss Universe competition," a Mojo staffer emailed Celebrity Circuit. "The stereo demonstrate will not entertain requests to drag her name via the mud."
