She was hailed as the poster girl of new America, a Lebanese immigrant who won the Miss USA crown. But just a day just after, Rima Fakih's victory has been tarnished with photos of her pole dancing at a strip club emerging on the Internet.

The 24-year or so-aged from Michigan who is thought to be the primary Muslim lady ever to win the competition, capabilities in a video sliding up and down a stripper's pole in a blue tank leading, warm pants and higher heels.

Fakih won the 'Stripper 101' contest at the Coliseum Gentleman's Club in 2007 and other photographs showed her wearing a bra stuffed with dollar bills, noted Regular Mail on the web.

The images had been posted on the website of a Detroit-centered radio display pursuing her triumph at the Miss USA contest on Sunday evening.

The radio show's producers claim they have been contacted by the organisers of the Miss Universe competition requesting supplemental details pertaining to Fakih's involvement.

In the mean time as the winner of the Miss USA name, the marketing executive from Michigan will represent America in the Miss Earth beauty contest later this year or so.

Supporters experienced claimed that her being successful in the pageant revealed the true face of Arab Americans at a time when they have come below the spotlight above attempted terror attacks.

The Miss USA pageant has been dogged by dispute in recent decades.

Survive year's winner Carrie Prejean was stripped off her subject immediately after it emerged she had produced a sex tape.

She also prompted hot debate by declaring in the course of the pageant that marriage ought to be between 'a man and a woman'.

And in 2006 Tara Conner, 20,admitted to acquiring drug treatments and underage consuming. She was allowed to continue to keep her name soon after heading into rehab.

The pageant, co-owned by Donald Trump and NBC, was held at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on Sunday nighttime. Mr Trump has refused to comment.
